Volleyball Nunavut hosts an annual VOLLEYBALL COACHING SYMPOSIUM in conjunction with the Recreation and Parks Association of Nunavut (RPAN) Recreation and Sport Leadership Conference.

The VBNU COACHING SYMPOSIUM focuses on:

​

• Proper coaching skills (drill set up, tossing, controlled hitting, etc.)

• Teaching correct volleyball skills and movement

• Understanding offensive and defensive systems (as used by Team Nunavut)

• Planning annual plan and daily practice plans.

• Safe Sport and how to provide a safe, positive and friendly environment.

**All coaches will also be provided with resources to help with practice plans, organization and planning.**
